The Action for Health and Employment’s Access Development (AHEAD) Culture Orientation and Integration Program is dedicated to supporting individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds as they adapt to new environments. The program aims to ease the transition process, promote cultural understanding, and facilitate integration into the community.
Objectives
Facilitate Cultural Adaptation:
Provide resources and support to help individuals and families understand and navigate their new cultural environment.
Assist with overcoming cultural barriers and adjusting to different social norms.
Promote Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity:
Educate participants about local customs, traditions, and societal expectations.
